Utah is a wonderful state to go camping in. This outdoor state has excellent land that deserves to be admired. So if you are trying to find some great spots to go camping at here is a short list.
1. Zion
Zion is a large national park with very beautiful land. It is a perfect spot to go camping at because there are so many wonderful activities to do during the daytime. I’ll admit it Zion is my favorite national park in Utah because it has so much greenery and water.
2. Fish Lake
Fish lake another fine camping spot because it allows you to camp and fish at the same time. Because Fish Lake is one of the best lakes in Utah you are going to want to bring some fishing equipment.
3. Gooseneck State Park
Gooseneck State Park is a very small park and has no drinkable water, but it is free. And it is close to some great attractions such as the natural brides and the Mexican hat. If you are traveling across Navajo nation and want a free place to stay this park is a perfect match.
4. Green River
I have to say the green river and me go way back. I loved camping out there because you can bring boats into the river or fly fish. The park also has its own golf course so you don’t have to go very far in order to play a round of golf.
Best of all the green river state park is near many other major attractions like the Arches and Canyonlands.
