SocialBlade Taught In Schools? How Cool Is That!?!

One of the perks of getting to travel for work is I also get to do things in various cities as well visiting people I know but this week really took the cake. Before I left for my trip to Utah I saw a tweet saying that an actual university taught SocialBlade as part of their lesson and I was just floored. How cool is that!? A website I built was being used as an educational tool! Anyway after talking more about the class it turns out the university was about an hour away from where I was going to be this week! Big thanks to Tiffany for reaching out to me originally and arranging all of this! Another big thanks to Jake for letting me take over his class and interrupt his lesson plan to add my thoughts :) Lastly thanks to all the students for listening, asking great quetions, and of course using Social Blade! 1. Hey thanks for coming to our class! And thanks for the shout out! I really loved learning more about your channel, and your website. Great job!

  2. You are very welcome! I just checked out your first video too. Nice job :) Was cool hearing all your ideas and then seeing how they turned out.

  3. LOL. That is funny. Guess everyone just needs to spend more time on the site to make sure they don’t fail :P

  4. Hey thanks again for dropping by our class! It was good to meet you in person. Great channel and best of luck! (p.s. thanks for letting us say our channel names, that was really nice!)

  5. I just thought of some thing sb prob on a test for the class and now a student could fail becuse of it. Good job jason you fail people now lol great to see this but it blows your mind

  6. Yeah twitter’s great. It’s brought me a lot of places. Probably the hardest one to top is to a nasa shuttle launch (which I made a video of for my channel of course) but being invited to a college class was pretty awesome too. Good luck with your channel!

  7. I was planning to talk to you guys but wasn’t expecting to jump up the second I walked in the door lol, but had a lot of fun! It was really a great experience for me and I hope I was able to pass on some tips.

  8. Thanks so much for coming! That was so cool. I’m glad I got to be there. It’s cool how you found us through Twitter, a tool that we are learning to use to promote our channels!

  9. Jason, thanks for coming by and talking to us. I just found a moment to watch your video and was glad that you enjoyed your visit, even if we put you in the hot seat. We all left excited to start our own channels and contribute to this amazing social media platform community.

  10. Thanks for the support :) The system for that is automatic and due to the massive number of channels SB now tracks it can take up to a week for it to update but don’t fear, it will!
