Nicknamed Utah’s city of trees, Pleasant Grove was incorporated as a city in 1850 and has continued to experience growth since. Recent studies have shown a population of about 31,552. Just over the past year, the number of people grew by over one thousand people which is something that not too many Utah cities experienced. When the snow has melted and the temperature has increased, the city celebrates Strawberry Days. A rodeo, Miss Pleasant Grove pageant, and parade are some of the many events that keep people returning every year. The town also gathers for the Heritage Festival which includes a 5K run, many activities and a barbeque cook-off. Throughout the year, all are invited to learn more about their ancestors and heritage of the city.
