Nicknamed Utah’s city of trees, Pleasant Grove was incorporated as a city in 1850 and has continued to experience growth since. Recent studies have shown a population of about 31,552. Just over the past year, the number of people grew by over one thousand people which is something that not too many Utah cities experienced. There are approximately 6,343 households and 22% of the population is made up of renters. Income is $ 65,178 which is above the average in Utah.

Pleasant Grove will usually see about 17 inches of rain and 42 inches of snow on a yearly basis. The high in July will reach about 91 degrees and the January low will slip to 20 degrees. There is plenty of entertainment for everyone throughout the year. When the snow abounds, Utah ski resorts are always a good choice. When the snow has melted and the temperature has increased, the city celebrates Strawberry Days. A rodeo, Miss Pleasant Grove pageant, and parade are some of the many events that keep people returning every year. The town also gathers for the Heritage Festival which includes a 5K run, many activities and a barbeque cook-off. Throughout the year, all are invited to learn more about their ancestors and heritage of the city.
